Bucktoberfest Car Show Presented By Jeff Belzer’s | October 3rd, 2026

Minnesota gives us a short window every fall where the air turns crisp, the leaves start showing off, and the cars still look their absolute best before they get tucked away for the season. Buck Hill picked exactly the right weekend for it.
On Saturday, October 3, the inaugural Bucktoberfest Car Show rolls into Buck Hill in Burnsville as the automotive centerpiece of Bucktoberfest, Buck Hill’s new fall festival. Jeff Belzer’s is presenting the show, and we’d love to see you there — whether you’re bringing a build you’ve spent years on or just bringing the family out for an afternoon on the hill.
Quick recap: The first-ever Bucktoberfest Car Show takes over Buck Hill in Burnsville on Saturday, October 3, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Entry is $20 per show vehicle, spectators get in free, $500 cash goes to the #1 People’s Choice winner, and Jeff Belzer’s is proud to be the presenting sponsor.

What the Bucktoberfest Car Show Is
If you spent your summer Wednesdays at Buck Hill’s Weekly Wheels Car + Bike Meets, you already know the crowd. Bucktoberfest is that same enthusiast energy, scaled up into a full Saturday afternoon show with judging, trophies, and a fall festival happening all around it.
This is a show-quality event, not a parking-lot cruise-in. The goal is a show floor where every vehicle earns a second look — classics, muscle, hot rods, sports cars, JDM and Euro builds, modified stance and widebody work, lifted trucks, overlanders, sleepers, and one-off specialty builds.

Awards and How Voting Works
Every spectator who walks the show gets a say. Here’s how it shakes out:
- Spectators vote for their top five favorite vehicles
- $500 cash goes to the #1 People’s Choice winner
- The Top 10 vehicles take home trophies
- Buck Hill Best in Show and Jeff Belzer’s Best in Show are hand-picked by the pros
That last one is the part our team is most excited about. Our crew will be walking the show all afternoon, and picking the Jeff Belzer’s Best in Show is a genuinely hard job — in the best possible way.
What Kind of Vehicles Belong Here
What We’re Looking For
- Classic & antique — pre-1985 cars and trucks, restored or well-kept survivors
- Muscle cars & hot rods — American classics from every era, plus modern muscle
- Sports cars & supercars — the ones that make phones come out
- Modified builds — tasteful stance, track, and widebody work
- JDM & Euro builds — the full enthusiast import scene
- Trucks & off-road — lifted, Baja-style, and overland rigs
- Performance sedans, exotics, and one-off specialty builds
Please Sit This One Out
- Stock economy cars, commuters, and everyday daily drivers
- Unfinished projects still in primer or mismatched panels
- Vehicles with excessive rust, major body damage, or rough overall shape
- Anything that hasn’t seen a wash bucket lately
- Minivans and stock SUVs
This isn’t gatekeeping for its own sake. It’s about keeping the show floor as sharp as the cars on it.
More Happening at Bucktoberfest
The car show is the centerpiece, but Bucktoberfest is unfolding all around it. Buck Hill has shared plans for chairlift rides, a fall festival atmosphere, a beer dabbler for the 21+ crowd, live music, and family-friendly activities for the kids. Buck Hill has said more details are dropping soon, so keep an eye on their event page as the date gets closer.
Come to enter your build, come to vote, come for a seasonal pour, or come just to spend a Saturday outside before Minnesota does its Minnesota thing.

A few event rules worth knowing: burnouts, racing, reckless driving, and excessive revving are prohibited. Participants are responsible for their own licensing and insurance, participation is at your own risk, and photos or video taken at the event may be used for promotional purposes. Buck Hill reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any vehicle that doesn’t meet event standards or creates a safety concern, and award and voting decisions are final. Buck Hill may also send additional arrival details before October 3.
Why Jeff Belzer’s Is Behind This Show
We’ve been a family-owned and operated dealership group in Minnesota since 1980, and car culture here isn’t a marketing angle for us — it’s the reason a lot of us got into this business. Presenting Bucktoberfest is a natural extension of our summer with Buck Hill’s Weekly Wheels meets and the shows we host at our own stores.
Stop by and say hello to our team at the show. Whether you want to talk builds, ask about your next vehicle, or just compare notes on your favorite car in the lineup, we’ll be right there in it with you. You can see more of what we’re up to around the Twin Cities on our Belzer in the Community page.
